Everything Electric 2026

Business Electrification Forum

Friday 18 September 2026 | Sydney Olympic Park

Businesses are facing more decisions about energy, EV charging and electric vehicles, but understanding the technologies, costs and implementation options can be difficult and time-consuming.

The Business Electrification Forum, held as part of Everything Electric Sydney’s dedicated B2B Professionals Day, brings the relevant experts, providers and industry partners together in one place.

Across three practical sessions, you will learn how to:

  • Reduce energy use and operating costs
  • Assess solar, batteries and other electrification upgrades
  • Introduce EV charging for customers, employees or visitors
  • Prepare your workplace and fleet for electric vehicles
  • Understand technology, installation and site requirements
  • Explore finance, grants and implementation pathways
  • Avoid common and costly mistakes
  • Identify the next steps most relevant to your organisation

No technical knowledge or existing electrification plan is required.

Your electrification questions answered under one roof, in one day

Rather than arranging separate meetings with energy consultants, electrical contractors, EV charging providers, finance companies and fleet specialists, the Forum gives you access to relevant expertise in one place.

Each session will combine:

  • Expert guidance
  • Current market insights
  • Real-world business examples
  • Practical implementation advice
  • Time for questions and discussion

You will also have opportunities throughout the day to speak directly with energy specialists, installers, EV charging providers, fleet experts and finance partners.

The objective is simple: for you to leave with clear answers, useful contacts and practical next steps.

Business Electrification and Energy Savings

Understand where your business may be wasting energy and which upgrades are most likely to deliver a worthwhile return.
Explore solar, batteries, energy management, hot water, heating, cooling and other electrification opportunities, so you can
prioritise the right projects and avoid unnecessary costs.

Questions this session will help answer include:

  • Where is my business using the most energy?
  • Which upgrades are likely to deliver the greatest savings?
  • Is solar or battery storage commercially viable for my site?
  • Which projects should we prioritise first?
  • Can improvements be implemented in stages?

1pm – 2.30pm | Session 2

EV Charging for Businesses

Find out whether EV charging is relevant to your customers, employees, property or venue, and what a suitable solution could look like.
Gain a clearer understanding of charger types, installation costs, site requirements, pricing, payment and ongoing management.

Questions this session will help answer include:

  • Does my business need EV charging now?
  • What type and speed of charger should we install?
  • What should we expect to pay?
  • Should charging be free or paid?
  • Can charging help attract customers or increase dwell time?
  • Who manages the chargers after installation?

3pm – 4.30pm | Session 3

Fleet Electrification

Learn how to identify which vehicles are suitable to transition first and whether electrification makes commercial and operational
sense for your business. Explore vehicle selection, daily routes, charging locations, site capacity, whole-of-life costs and
implementation planning, so you can build a practical transition plan and avoid overinvesting.

Questions this session will help answer include:

  • Is my fleet ready for electrification?
  • Which vehicles should we transition first?
  • Can available EVs complete our required routes?
  • Where and when will the vehicles charge?
  • How do whole-of-life costs compare with petrol or diesel vehicles?
  • How can we plan the transition without overinvesting?
