ivygo updates

“Plugged In”A short monthly update from ivygo.

We are building an EV charging marketplace that helps property owners and businesses unlock value from chargers they already have, while allowing drivers to easily find, book and pay for charging where they already park.

As we grow, we share what we are building, what we are learning, and how the market is evolving.

If you are an investor, partner or business operator, this is worth staying close to.

March 2026 - Charge the Hunter launch, turnkey package & early traction

Hi everyone,

I hope you are well.

For those short on time, here are the highlights of this update.

Highlights

• Shift from validation to early scale with the launch of Charge the Hunter
• Platform activity accelerating with ~50%+ month-on-month growth since December 2025
• Strong marketplace signals: ~30% guest return rate and ~78% repeat bookings across active chargers
• Partnership-led turnkey solution now live to accelerate supply
•  Kristy Meudell and Mirela Xhota  joined ivygo as advisors as we move into go-to-market execution

1. Quick reminder on ivygo

ivygo is building a marketplace for EV charging, starting here in Australia.

We help businesses and property owners turn underused chargers into visible, bookable, revenue generating assets. Drivers can find, book, and pay for charging in advance, while hosts attract customers, increase dwell time, and earn additional income.

Our approach is hardware agnostic and complements public infrastructure by unlocking existing chargers where people already park.

2. Hunter Valley rollout underway

We launched Charge the Hunter with an in-person  EV charging education session in Singleton on 24 March. Thank you to Jill Stewart (Singleton Council), Dan Wigmore (NSW DCCEEW) and Felicity Stevens (Sustainable Hosting) for sharing their insights on the day and supporting the initiative.

From this first activation:

• 110+ business leads identified in the region
• 27 registrations for the in-person event
• 14 site visit requests since launch
• 3 venues onboarded

This continues to validate our regional rollout model:
education → engagement → site visits → onboarding → density → utilisation

We are now progressing these leads through the pipeline and tracking conversion weekly. From late April, we will also start engaging with additional councils and local groups to run similar sessions and replicate the model.

A couple of asks at the end, so please check if you can help us grow.

1. Quick reminder on ivygo

ivygo is building a global marketplace for EV charging, starting right here in Australia.

We connect businesses and property owners with EV drivers, turning underutilised chargers into visible, bookable, and revenue generating assets. Through the ivygo app, drivers can find, book, and pay for charging in advance, while hosts attract customers, increase dwell time, and generate incremental revenue.

As transport shifts to electric, fair and convenient access to charging is critical. ivygo enables communities and businesses to participate in the transition while complementing public charging infrastructure.

Since launching our MVP last year, ivygo has seen consistent revenue growth, with gross charging revenue increasing from March to December at approximately 25% compound monthly growth, alongside a 28% returning customer rate, indicating early product stickiness and repeat usage as supply density increases.

Hi everyone,

I hope this email finds you well. For those short on time, here are the highlights of this update:

• Hunter Valley rollout launched with strong support from Singleton and Cessnock councils, with three hosts now live on the platform
• Agreement signed with Commbank to promote ivygo on the Cars for CommBank platform, launching in January
• Mick Liubinskas has joined ivygo as an advisor

1- Quick reminder on ivygo

ivygo is building a global marketplace for EV charging, starting right here in Australia.

We connect businesses and property owners with EV drivers, turning underutilised and often hidden chargers into visible, bookable and revenue generating assets. Through the ivygo app, drivers can find, book and pay for charging in advance, giving them certainty and convenience, while helping hosts attract customers and generate revenue.

As transport shifts to electric, fair and convenient access to charging is critical. Our model enables businesses and property owners to participate in the electrification of transport, while giving drivers reliable charging in the places where they already live, stay and spend time.

Our app is live with 51 chargers and has facilitated 300+ charging hours in six months, with average month on month growth of 24%, demonstrating early traction and increasing utilisation as we scale supply in priority regions.

2- Hunter Valley rollout and early traction

The Hunter Valley is our first regional showcase for a scalable and repeatable destination charging model.

In just three weeks, we have:

• Secured active support from Singleton and Cessnock councils, who are promoting ivygo through their channels and will run education sessions for local businesses in early 2026,

• Onboarded three hosts, including a hospitality venue.

Two of the new hosts are residential and joined ivygo organically.

The third is Adina Vineyard and Olive Grove in Lovedale, offering a cellar door, overnight accommodation and a restaurant. In their first week on the platform, Adina completed 4 charging sessions, including an overnight booking, a strong early signal of demand and utilisation. We are now working with the Adina team on a summer promotion, offering a complimentary tasting with every ivygo charging booking.

Our near term focus is on venues that already have chargers but are not yet sharing or monetising them. We have identified 17 such venues in the Hunter Valley and have already visited five, creating a clear onboarding pipeline.

3- What we are working on next

From early in the new year, we will actively promote turnkey EV charging packages for businesses that do not yet have chargers installed.

These bring together:
• Charger hardware through our partnership with Smappee
• Installation via trusted partner installers
• Clear quoting and return on investment modelling tailored to each business
• Financing options enabled by Brighte and SmartEase, with certified installers offering financing for hardware and installation

By offering a practical and cost efficient end to end solution, we reduce friction for hospitality businesses and remove traditional barriers to entry, allowing ivygo to scale supply faster in targeted regions.

Crucially, our no fixed fee and no lock in contract model, where ivygo takes a percentage on every booking, is a key competitive advantage. It makes EV charging viable for small businesses and regional areas where utilisation does not yet justify high fixed fees.

4- Partnerships and team

We have signed an agreement with CommBank for ivygo to be promoted on the Cars for CommBank platform from January, giving us visibility with a large and highly relevant audience of EV curious and EV ready customers (a real pinch me moment for us!).

I am also very excited to share that Mick Liubinskas from Climate Salad has joined ivygo as an advisor. Mick brings deep experience supporting climate tech founders to scale, raise capital and build globally competitive businesses. His support is a strong vote of confidence in our vision and progress.

5- A couple of small asks

  • If you know anyone who might enjoy receiving our updates or would like to learn more about what we are building at ivygo, please feel free to forward this update to them and cc me so I can connect with them.  The further and wider we reach, the more momentum we can build.
  • And if you are heading to the Hunter this holiday, do stop by Adina Vineyard and Olive Grove in Lovedale to charge your car and enjoy a wine and olive tasting. Please also mention ivygo to any local business owners you chat with while you are there. Word of mouth goes a long way in regional communities.

Thank you for your continued support and encouragement throughout the year. It truly means a lot to us and gives us the energy to keep building ivygo and delivering real impact and value. We wish you a safe and joyful festive season and look forward to sharing more progress soon.

Many thanks

Julie & the ivygo team
