They find your charger in the ivygo app, book a time slot in advance and pay in the app. Payments are cashless and handled for you.
How does the building get paid?
Payments are automated and secure. When you sign up, you connect your account to Stripe, the world’s leading payment platform. Once a charging session is complete, your earnings (minus the ivygo commission) are directly transferred to your account.
Can we set our own price?
Yes. Your strata sets the price, not ivygo. Choose an hourly rate that covers your electricity costs, and change it whenever you like.
Can the owners corporation recover the cost of charging?
Yes. You set an hourly rate that covers your electricity costs, and drivers pay for every booking in the app. Earnings are paid to the building’s connected Stripe account, so the charger pays its way instead of the cost being spread across every lot owner.
Can visitors use our charger too?
Yes. Anyone with the ivygo app can book your charger during the times you make it available, so visitors and nearby EV drivers can use it as well as residents. Every booking adds income for the building, and you stay in control of the hours and price.
